HOW DOES IT WORK?
The CSQ VISUAL system functioning is based on measuring and controlling the PROCESS CURVE in real time.
Using a force transducer (usually a pressure cell) and a sensor to measure the stroke (linear position transducer) we continuously measure the force and stroke values at the pressure spindle.
The interpolation of these values allows the construction of thestroke-force PROCESS CURVE.
WHAT DOES IT CONTROL?
If several operations are performed on similar pieces, the process curves generated by these operations will also be similar.
If, on the other hand, one of the pieces differs from the sample, the relative curves will differ from the sample curve: therefore it can be assumed that curve control ensures production with standard features.
HOW TO PERFORM THE CONTROL?
With the tolerance band: the completely developed process curve must be contained within a tolerance band.
With tolerance limits: the tool allows for the setting of force and stroke tolerance values.
With stop values: the tool stops the press when a specific force or stroke value is reached. |
